Student (m/w/d) Pharma - Salesforce Effectiveness Analyst (20h)

Our client is an international company in pharma industry, located very centrally in 1100 Vienna.
We are searching for a Working Student - Salesforce Effectiveness Analyst (20h) limited until end of December 2023.

Key activities & responsibilities

  • Identify and implement Key Performance Indicators and visual reports to support Business Units and customer facing teams in their decision-making process
  • Support the Salesforce Effectiveness Manager in the Segmentation & Targeting Process, Sales Incentive Plan and other commercial processes through robust analysis and execution
  • Support ad-hoc Salesforce Effectiveness reporting requests and Veeva CRM topics
  • Set-up automated data quality reports to enable excellent data fundamentals
  • Contribute to the setup and execution of the segmentation & targeting process and further drive automation initiatives
  • Take your time exploring data structures to find potential areas to apply analytical methods to derive actionable insights and recommendations by transforming raw data into meaningful insights

Qualification

  • Ongoing or completed studies from an accredited university, preferably in sciences, analytics, business, or relevant practical experience with data analysis
  • Work experience related to business intelligence or business analysis is a plus
  • Business thinking skills with a drive to identify business issues/opportunities, frame business questions, contextualise the answers and quantify salesforce-related data to paint a picture for less data-savvy stakeholders
  • Ability to turn large amounts of data and information into actionable insights through analytical techniques (e.g., data visualization, filtering, slicing, aggregation, etc.) and skilled in communicating insights to various business functions
  • Previous experience with analytical, data-centric systems and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, proprietary reporting systems). Familiarity with pharma analytics and pharma-specific datasets (e.g., Veeva CRM, sales panel data, etc.) preferred
  • Basic understanding in using business intelligence software (e.g., Qlik, PowerBI, Spotfire), also for building reports and dashboards are a plus
  • Understanding of databases and ability to write simple queries in SQL
  • Eagerness to learn and apply data-focused scripting languages to complement data analysis (R, Python, etc.)
